Foolishly, I have got rid of my Rebecca Adlington icon. But she is still fab. And she is one of the few people on the programme who actually has a personality. I thought it was very mean of them to make her walk down that long, steeply sloping, walkway in her ridiculously high heels. That dress looked like it wouldn't have been out of place for a night out on the town in Mansfield. And she was so fabulously un-self conscious while she rearranged her bosoms in it. Right now, she's picking bits of confetti out of her cleavage. Do you think anyone told her she was on national telly?

But I'm really glad she got a prize. And I am even more glad that Lewis Hamilton didn't win and that Chris Hoy did. Well done, the public who voted.

Also, Sue Barker? Why on earth is she still trying to dress as if she were Jackie O?
