Today is the last day to vote on the Valentine's fics for the challenge at Phoenix Song.  So if you haven't yet checked out these stories, let me encourage you to do so.  There are funny, romantic, angsty and even dramatic stories to suit all tastes.  And, yes, I may have written one of them but, no, I'm not telling you which.  Not yet, anyway!  I may award prizes to anyone who guesses correctly.

I guess you'll make me ineligible for this, right?

Oh, you must let me know! I don't have time to read them all! Eep! A little hint in a PM? I didn't enter this contest, so I'm totally unbiased.:)

Well, there may be something of a hint in the title which does actually link in with two of my stories already published at PS, featuring the same characters. Plus, you may like to remember that I never really write H/G or R/Hr, which narrows the field somewhat!

I assumed you'd written a Lily and James story, as I know that's one of the couples you do write. So I had a look at all three listed and decided the one with references to the Bodleian was probably yours. Don't hit me if I'm wrong!

Ooh, actual detective work going on - I'm impressed. But my lips are sealed...

That's the one I meant too. It also sounded more British - people getting asked out rather than dating (very American!).

You may say that; I couldn't possibly comment.

That was Francis Urquhart's line. Did you see Ian Richardson died earlier this week. Very sad, even though he was getting on a bit. I hope they repeat House of Cards etc here in Oz.

Yes, I did see about Ian Richardson which may have been why the line was in my mind. I don't think I ever actually saw House of Cards, but it was one of those catchphrases that really stuck - it's just so appropriate so often.
