...and though it wasn't exactly an overwhelming majority, most of you do seem to be happy that I should spend money on the frivolous things in life. Cunningly, I paid on February 29th, in the hope of outwitting their system of annual renewal but clearly LJ are too clever for that and have informed me that I shall next be charged on February 28th, 2009. I'm looking forward to finding lots of new icons, devising a fabulous new layout and being incredibly nosy. Oh yes, the thing that really swung it for me was discovering that paid users can read their friends' friends page. I often waste spend time checking to see who you're all friends with and what they have to say and now I can do all that on one easy page. Hooray!

I'm waiting for some flangst this time - having her scared and hesitant to commit to someone who would require her to change her life so drastically, or something like that. And I want to see a fight - or at least a little argument. Come on, it can't be all rosy, right?
