I like it. You took the most ambitious road to the prompt, literally giving us the fall of Valhalla. Wow. I wouldn't have had the guts (I'd've copped out with Harry at the opera, or the end of the world for a colony of ants, or something like that). The atmospherics are great. And the cycle-change at the end, of course, is completely consistent with the theme.

As for the fluff part of it, it's only hinted at, which I like. But could you have Gotterdammerung-themed fluff? Sure.
