Seriously, it had everything I love. Rain delays, a British girl almost (but not quite) beating a former champion, Federer winning in straight sets and a classic Henman nailbiter that had to be abandoned at 5-5 in the 5th due to bad light but which, amazingly, he's just managed to win today.

*happy sigh*

How wonderful, sounds like a treat. Does Charlie find these Muggles hitting a ball back and forth fascinating or boring? As Arthur's son I'd guess the first, as a dragon tamer I'd go for the last, but for the girl he loves it's probably the first... LOL I'm happy you had a good time. :-)

Charlie thinks it's all nonsense. He smiles indulgently at me as I settle in for the afternoon in front of the telly then goes off to do something heroic, manly and magical without me. :)

He's doing okay so far!

At least with Roddick you know what you're getting. Watching Henman is enough to bring the calmest, most composed person to the brink of a nervous breakdown. Six matchpoints against Moya before finally winning 13-11 in the fifth - arrghh!! Though I wouldn't have it any other way, so long as he keeps winning. Let's hope it doesn't rain tomorrow.
