From the thread at the Quill:

Since I believe in the power of positive thinking (especially in matters such as this where the outcome is already determined, just unknown) my predictions may demonstrate some hint of wishful thinking. Ah well...

1. Harry wins. Obviously.
2. Harry defeats Voldemort because of/by means of his love for Ginny and Ginny's for him. Aaaahhh.
3. Ron and Hermione argue a lot but also kiss quite a lot.
4. Snape remains an ambiguous character to the end. (I know, I know - there'll be tears and endless arguments - just think how much you'll all enjoy it!)
5. Charlie Weasley plays a starring (and obviously heroic) role in the book.
6. Percy realises the error of his ways and returns to the Good Side, but dies in the attempt.
7. No other Weasleys die. Except maybe Arthur or Molly.
8. Hagrid dies. And good riddance.
9. Petunia turns out to be an all right sort in the end. Kind of. Vernon and Dudley do not.
10. The Trio never ever look remotely like the cover of the UK edition.
11. Draco turns to the Good Side and ends up snogging Hermione and/or Ginny. (Just checking to see if anyone's actually reading these. wink.gif)
12. It all turns out to have been a terrible dream. There are no such things as witches or wizards. Harry ends by being checked into the local mental hospital. Oh but wouldn't it be funny?!  (This will obviously be a familiar scenario to anyone who's read my story 'If the Giant Squid were a Horcrux')

I think I'd better stop there!

And just so I don't forget, I also have a bet on with [profile] rhetoretician :
Done and done. If Neville's wand turns out to be a horcrux, I'll write 3,000 words on any topic you choose. But if it doesn't, I get 1,000 girlyswot words.
