Fangirlish squeeing

So, my parents are visiting this weekend and they are staying in a nice hotel in Beauly, home of Clan Fraser. The hotel is the Lovat Arms. I went to have dinner with them there this evening and was immediately struck by the carpet which was clearly woven specially for them to include the Lovat arms in it. Which of course have the motto 'Je suis prest'. I did keep an eye out for any Jamie Fraser lookalikes but sadly none. Though there were men in kilts. Also, last night was the college graduation ceremony which was another kilt-wearing event.
