Birthday pros and cons

Cons:

(i) 2 inches of snow that fell last night. Honestly. It's April 16th - surely it should be spring by now!
(ii) Comcast aren't sending anyone to sort out our internet connection until WEDNESDAY.  Comcast are complete imbeciles who know nothing about anything.  They sent someone out this morning without telling us, so I had to rush home from the library to let them in.  They then fiddle about with the modem/cable/splitter and pronounce the problem fixed.  It isn't.  They now can't send anyone else until Thursday.  I want to cry and tell them that it's my birthday and I have a VERY IMPORTANT date with Charlie Weasley.  I daren't do this in case they write me off as a lunatic and decide never to come back.
(iii) Which means I have to read the 'Great Girlyswot Rescue and Tea Party' in the library where I have to keep stopping myself from laughing out loud.

Pros:
(i) The 'Great Girlyswot Rescue and Tea Party' is one of the funniest, nicest, most fun things ever to happen on my birthday.
(ii) Plus I get to spend it with Charlie
(iii) Who also sent me a birthday card (care of sibtrelawney)
(iv) Who also made me a Charlie Weasley bag emblazoned with a very handsome picture of the man with dragons
(v) xianianewrote me Charlie fic which you should all go and read (there are scars, tattoos and naked Charlie in the bath.  *nods*)
(vi) I got sent a DVD of the new Persuasion with Rupert Penry-Jones.  Hooray!
