First, a huge thank you to
pollymel for writing 'The Prodigals' and to
ankaret for writing 'Puck Shall Make Amends' for me. I loved them both and have read them several times. They made for a very happy Christmas indeed.
Lord Barham Contrives for Alex Elizabeth. This was my epic fic forming something of a sequel to 'The Masqueraders' by Georgette Heyer. I'm pretty sure it doesn't make sense if you haven't read the book, and I'm not absolutely certain it makes sense even if you have. Still, people have been kind enough to say some nice things about it and I am very happy indeed to have finally finished this story a mere 15 years after I began it.
The Posh Nosh Cook Book for
irmelin. This is the thing I have most enjoyed writing in a long time. My favourite line: 'Meanwhile, frighten the lettuce.' I'm so glad that someone requested it and that I had time to have a crack at it. I think this probably stands alone even if you never watched the programme - but watch it anyway. 10 minutes episodes, all on Youtube. Hilarious.
It Could Have All Ended Differently for
k4writer02. It's an AU for Mansfield Park (which seemed to be a popular thing to write this year).
