I'm changing this rule. Those who are tagged are completely free to refuse if they like.
1. How has LJ changed your life?
Well, I'm a much less productive student when I always have my flist to check. I like to pretend I'm a tech-savvy Web 2.0 girl. But really, my answer is the same as everyone else, I expect - it's brought so many wonderful friends into my life. It's amazing to think that there are people all over the world, most of whom I've never met, who I really love and enjoy having fun with. Oh, and I've had the best birthday parties EVER on LJ!!
2. What do you do before bedtime?
Dunno. When I'm in bed I usually read for a bit before I turn the lights off. Otherwise, there's not much of a routine.
3. What will your dream wedding be like?
Well, it'll be one in which Molly Weasley is kept firmly under control. *grins* I don't really anticipate getting married so I don't spend a whole lot of time thinking about this. I used to think I'd like to have the reception in the garden at my parents' house, but then they moved... I do think it would be fun to have a bring and share (potluck) meal and just be able to invite everyone.
4. What is the city of your dreams and why?

girlyswot : Me either. The city that I've most enjoyed living in (on 3 separate occasions) is Oxford. But really I dream of green fields and open spaces.
5. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Introvert. Which makes the internet an ideal form of communication for me. I can be completely in control of how, when and who I interact with.
6. Do you trust easily?
I like to think I trust discerningly.
7. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Yes. And if you're on my flist you probably already know some of what's happened lately. The last few weeks at home I've had more time to reflect on the events of the last few months and that hasn't been happy either. I'm still feeling battered and bruised, still grieving, still angry and sad, and (this is a new one) scared about the future.
8. Is being tagged fun?
It depends on the meme. I usually don't mind being tagged but I hate having to tag other people.
9. What should you be doing instead of wasting time on this meme?
Working on an article for a journal. And doing my Writers Crucible post.
10. Will Andy Murray win Wimbledon?
Yes.
Although possibly not this year.

No. Not even with Marlboro Man.
12. What's better to give or to receive?
I agree withstmargarets: I don’t know which is *better,* but it’s *easier* for me to give.
13. What were your parents going to name you if you'd been born the opposite gender?
I honestly don't know. Alternative girls' names they liked were Sarah (my middle name) and Sophia.
14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
stmargarets is kind, funny, generous, loyal, immensely talented, intuitive and altogether the best friend a girl could hope for. Though she is sadly misguided on the matter of Weasley eye colour.
15. What’s your favorite item of clothing?
I have a chocolate brown velvet jacket that I bought in the Lands End sale eighteen months ago. I love it because it's so versatile. It can look very smart indeed, but it's comfortable and casual enough to wear with jeans.

LJ, Facebook, Flickr, BBC, My blog, Whip Up, Pioneer Woman.
17. What color are Charlie Weasley’s eyes?
Ooh, let me just check. *Stares into Charlie's eyes*. Yup, still blue. And, at the moment, giving me one of *those* looks.

Oh dear, this could get embarrassing. I do tend to crush on characters in every book I read. Some of the most significant include:

I don't usually eat breakfast but when I do, I like orange juice, a nice cup of Lady Grey tea, toast, yoghurt, fruit, sausages, eggy bread and (in a bizarre throwback to my boarding school days) fishfingers. Not all together, obviously.
20. How many questions did you change? Come on ‘fess up.
Only two. I find thinking of new questions too scary. I once had a lecturer who used to include a 'write your own question and answer it' option on his exams - way too scary. I like the safety of being told what to write about.
