Not NaNoWriMo
Oct. 29th, 2008 08:58 amI've been thinking for a little while that it would be good to do something to get back into the habit of regular writing. Neither of my current WIP's (the Regency and the Charlie story) are abandoned, but they have been making very slow progress lately. I don't want to do NaNoWriMo again because I just end up writing drivel for the sake of the word count.[Poll #1287182]
Things what I have made lately
Oct. 29th, 2008 05:40 pmThese were for a mini-quilt swap with the theme 'Out of the Box'.
( The first one isn't a quilt at all )
Oh, and you're all no help at all. It looks like I'll be writing a time-travelling (contemporary, historical, fantasy) romantic comedy. Huh. Someone has already written Lost in Austen, you know.

Listen Again
Oct. 29th, 2008 09:21 pmThis week's edition of The Write Stuff has J. K. Rowling as its featured author. It's worth listening to just for the jokes in the first 'read your favourite snippets' section. I haven't got to the end yet, but I'm looking forward to the author pastiches as well.
