Oh yes, they're all from the 1980's.

Oh, I saw this years ago on a sports show, and always wished I could see it again!! Great stuff - you have to be really good to fool around like that.

That was wonderful! I called my husband in for a giggle as well. His first statement was 'He's got to be a Brit. Just their kind of humor.'

American, actually. Illinois all-around gymnastics champion back in 1970-something. But it is hilarious. I liked his uneven bars routine even more.

I remember seeing him on TV in the "Nadia Tour" back in the early 1980s - the Romanian tour to the USA that the Karolyis defected from.

Oh, he's awesome! I've never seen this before, lol! Man, if I could even do a 1/4 of this now at 36 that he was doing as a "joke" at the age of 35!

And there's just nothing better than a studly man in a pink tutu (with a smiley face on his butt, LOLOLOLOL!!!) with a mustache doing tricks! :D

Thanks for sharing, I'm off to watch more!

That's brilliant. I particularly like the little square of his shoulders before he skips along the beam.

Weeehee! Goodness, that was something. Definitely worthy of loads of medals and a place in the gymnastics hall of fame. He's like the gymnasts' answer to Spike Jones. Thanks Ros, now I need to find more...
