Woolies Closing Down Sale FTW
Dec. 29th, 2008 01:33 pmI seem to have had a jolly good haul from Woolies in the last few weeks. I went into town today, expecting them to be closed, but apparently not quite yet. So my total loot is as follows:
4 lever arch files (2 pink, 2 green, v. pretty. Can't remember what I paid. About £1.50 each, perhaps.)
1 PVC tablecloth (from my mother for Christmas; pale blue with cupcakes)
1 Pyrex dish (also for Christmas)
1 cake stand (this was from a friend who got 3 for 50p each from the café in her local store)
2 narrow-lined A4 pads (64p each)
1 stapler (99p)
1 pack of mixed-colour crayons (50p - these look really fun actually)
1 Dionne Warwick CD (I used to have a tape of DW singing Burt Bacharach which I played to the death. This has most of my favourites on it. £5.50)
1 pack of cream fabric dye (I am particularly pleased with this since I was already planning to dye some plain white bedlinen cream. It was originally £4.99, reduced to £2.30, then half-price so I paid £1.15.)
1 chocolate orange, 2 twixes and 2 crunchies, all at half-price.
