Dear Santa,
We've had a rough year this year. I would like to read something inspiring or funny about new beginnings. Please bring me a story about characters from the "light" side of the HP universe who survived (Weasleys, Potters, minor characters that were on the right side. No Snape, Malfoys, doomed Marauders etc) Gen fiction is okay - but fluff is better. *grin*

Please Santa, we heat with oil, so I don't need a lump of coal. (I also don't need angst!)

Just for you, here’s a story based on canon new beginnings about survivors on the “light” side. There is not even a mention of Snape, any Malfoy, or doomed Marauders.

Whip Up's round up of Crochet patterns available on the internet. They look to be a pretty wide mix of skill levels.

Yuletide progress (ii)

It currently stands at just over 16,000 words and is nearly done. There is one more scene to write and one scene which is written except for the section which says in capital letters 'EXPLAIN PLOT HERE'.

Then there will need to be a massive overhaul of the whole thing and some serious html coding of accents and so forth. And then it will BE DONE!!! Hooray. Although then I will have no excuse not to focus all my attention on the PhD.
