Yay! Go you! I would recommend EFT to you, as it is magnificent for phobias (like height phobia). David Feinstein, Donna Eden and Gary Craig has collaborated on a book called "The Promise of Energy Psychology" wich is absolutely wonderful. As far as I can see it is mostly written by Feinstein, and I do enjoy having a seasoned psychiatrist's views mixed in with the energy psychology. It's been helping me loads, and is why I think I've finally overcome my impressive amounts of self sabotage. Still a lot to do, but that's ok. I'm getting there.
As for being terrified - why? You would not have been accepted if your work didn't hold it's own. And I bet the one whose methodology you use is tickled pink that you use it and refer to him. All the scientists I know (quite a few, as both my parents are scientists), love it when somebody else think their work is so good that they want to use it. It's incredibly flattering, so don't feel sorry that the one you flatter is there too - take it as an opportunity to ask him in person how he pronounces his name. He'll probably be impressed with your work, your possibly new way of using his methods - and having someone whose expertise is different (i.e. not Hebrew) will probably just be like a fresh breath. New blood. Invigorating. This is not a bad idea, this is a marvellous idea to get your work out there and get the acclaim you so richly deserve. You'll be fine.
