She's a crossover singer! I don't dislike her as much as I do Lesley Garrett.

Yes, crossover is the word I was looking for. I don't think she has ever actually sung an opera, whereas I think Lesley Garrett probably has. Though I do find Lesley Garrett intensely irritating.
