Gallery Challenge Entry
I was inspired by this picture that
gabrielladusult found and, since I wanted to take on the challenge of drawing people (which is my least favourite thing), it seemed a good thing to try and capture the spirit of the
firemuses. These are NOT intended to be recognisable portraits - though I know which one I want to be! Any resemblance to actual people is purely luck not skill!! But I did want us to look like we were having fun together and being a support to each other. And, of course, we're wearing our little black robes.
So here's my picture. Pencil sketch, coloured in photoshop.

What do you think?

But their not being intended as recognizeable portraits takes the fun out of it. I kept trying to figure out who was supposed to be whom -- but then I realized that I don't know what some of you look like!

But I also don't know who anyone is, except I somehow think Mary is the tallest one. And since I could never carry off a strapless gown, I'm going to hope the second from the left is Gabby. Plus I recently straightened my hair with that Japanese system, so I have really straight hair! I think I have the darkest hair of the group in real life, so I'm going to go with the far right, though my hair is not that layered. She has a good flangsty expression on her face, though, so it's probably me! :D You're holding Mary's hand? Or she's leading you to go see Charlie? I think Charlie would find your plunging neckline very sexy, if you're the middle one.
Lovely, Ros!

I'm glad to know moonette's hair is still straight. I wondered about that.
I've been thinking about you this week. You'll see why soon. *thud of an anvil*

Just as I picture you all...
While Amamama plays the fiddle and you dance under the moon, you can send all your children off to Grandma Kate's to bake cookies and watch Disney movies.

Think of me out in the kitchen, slaving away under Molly's eagle eye! Or if you like, imagine I've raced off with Sirius, who doesn't mind a slightly older 'woman with curves'. *winks*
