Giggling away

...at the version of 'Play your chords right' on this week's ISIHAC. I love when they have to explain the rules to Humph. What happens is that Colin Sell plays the melody of a 'famous' piece of classical music, one note at a time, and the team have to guess whether the next note is higher or lower. If they get it right, they get to answer a question about Winchester College. Utterly hilarious. Especially when Sandi Toksvig lets on that Colin is beating time 'as if it mattered'.

Excellent! To quote an author; 'a man may sleep anytime but a laugh restores the soul'.

I miss not having a radio to listen to. Reception here is desperate. I have classic fm bookmarked on the laptop but I don't always want classical music.

Ah, me too. One of the worst things about this exile in the US is not being able to have Radio 4 in every room. I only get to listen over the internet which is okay, but there's a lot less serindipity involved.
