I like the simple challenge of it: it's you and the paper and nothing else is allowed to distract from that. I like that you know what your priority has to be for that time, so you can just get on with it. I like that no one is allowed to talk to you. I like showing off what I know and bluffing what I don't.

This only applies to written exams. I did not like my viva at all, though admittedly it was much worse in the anticipation than the actuality.
