People who aren't maths geeks aren't going to want them. And people like me would actually be moved to smash them to pieces. I suppose you might buy one for a maths geek you don't really like, just to watch them squirm.

I suppose you could always strike a red line through the coefficient 2 and give it to your favorite math teacher... But that's grasping.

Funny how I found myself checking the math in the picture before I even read your post.

If I were a math geek and wanted a math cup I would much prefer something that was fun or symbolic or a famous quotation, not this. Maybe it's cool for kids in primary school? Maybe the guys who made it never made it past secondary school or something?
