OK, you have a new thread for this. So it is Oscar Wilde. "The Importance of Being Earnest" was remade a few years ago and "An Ideal Husband" before that. Whichever it is, I bet Rupert Everett said the second line! I'll guess "An Ideal Husband" because I didn't really recognise the line, just guessed, and I know "The Importance of Being Earnest" a lot better (doesn't everyone?).
