Well I never thought of Charlie/Hermione as a pairing, but you have me convinced (and half in love with Charlie myself). I thoroughly enjoyed 'The Marriage', thank you for posting the links. Must read more...

I'm not a member of Phoenixsong so I can't review there but this was so good I wanted to say I enjoyed it enormously.

I always thought that the way Lily goes on at JAmes in 'Snape's Worst Memory' was a bit 'methinks she doth protest too much' and you picked up on this element (IMHO) with Lily's reaction and behaviour to receiving nothing on the day. You also kept James's confidence, which all too often vanishes after 'The Incident'.

The line where Lily replies to the remark that 'Potter still has some way to go' nearly got me caught out at work for laughing. :-D

A great read and a deserved prize winner!
Xia.

Thanks so much for reading it and taking the trouble to leave a review here. I've just sent my beta the companion story told from James's point of view, so we'll see just how confident he really is!

I absolutely love your Nicola/Patrick story! I sat up til 2 am last night to read it, but was then too tired to leave a comment.

I've been dying to read what happened after Run Away Home since I first read that book in the late 1980s. You captured them so well.

Thanks so much for coming back to let me know that you enjoyed it. The Voyage was just something I'd been writing for my own enjoyment for years and it was the first thing I ever put online for other people to read mainly because there seemed to be so few AF stories. I still find it incredible that there are other people out there who want to read it!
